Responsibilities:

• development of project and operational documentation for network security subsystems;
• commissioning and configuration of network security tools FW/NGFW, VPN, and others;
• conducting pilot tests of new equipment and software (vendor comparison, load testing, false positive analysis);
• participation in the process of forming requirements for the network infrastructure for new and existing systems/services.

Requirements:

• understanding of the stages and phases of creating an information security system;
• knowledge of typical network architectures and principles;
• confident knowledge of network technologies (OSI, TCP/IP, built-in security mechanisms of network equipment);
• experience in administering and testing FW/NGFW (Huawei, UserGate, Continent);
• understanding of encryption and VPN principles;
• ability to read logs and analyze network traffic (Wireshark, tcpdump);
• possession of valid certifications in network technologies and network security tools;
• experience with industrial systems or the Internet of Things;
• experience migrating from one firewall vendor to another;
• experience writing scripts (Python/Bash) for automating data collection or configuration.
