The Voluntary Medical Insurance (VMI) team is looking for a developer to develop and support the system for exchanging personal data between participants of the VMI insurance business (Insurer, Medical Organizations). If you know how to build robust solutions resistant to high loads, understand how to ensure the security of clients' personal data, and study and use new tools and technologies in your work, then our team is waiting for you. Your mission is to implement new ideas in the field of medical insurance.

Responsibilities
- Quick immersion into the codebase, architecture, and integrations of the project
- Support for integrations with both internal and external systems
- Working with APIs: reading and maintaining Swagger/OpenAPI/RabbitMQ specifications, validating contracts, updating documentation
- Working with databases: analyzing and optimizing queries, supporting migrations through Liquibase
- Incident analysis and monitoring: reading logs, working with notifications (Prometheus/Grafana), diagnosing problems
- Interaction with the development team: task estimation, adherence to release policy
Requirements
- Commercial Java development experience of 3+ years (insurance experience is a plus);
- Ability to read and analyze others' code, identify dependencies, and improve feature efficiency;
- Understanding of microservice architecture, containerization, and orchestration;
- Experience in building and managing dependencies with Maven;
- Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL or similar) for writing and optimizing queries, understanding transactions and database object operations;
- Understanding of REST, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, OAuth2/OIDC;
- Experience with message brokers RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar;
- Experience with Hibernate or other ORMs;
- Experience with XML, XSD, JSON, serialization/validation;
- Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI for reading specifications and contracts;
- Experience writing database migrations (Liquibase or Flyway);
- Skill in writing autotests (JUnit 5 or similar), understanding the importance of test coverage and isolation;
- Experience with Git, monitoring and logging systems, participation in CI/CD processes;
- Experience with AI tools and GenAI, interest in this area will be an advantage.
