Java Developer (PO Drug)
We are developing our own system for managing employee requests for various issues within the company, which is intended to replace the existing system based on Microfocus Service Manager at the Bank. By the end of 2028, our system will need to process over 10 million requests per year from more than 200,000 users and be integrated with over 20 other automated systems of the Bank.
Responsibilities
- design, development, testing, and maintenance of high-load web applications and microservices using Java, BPMN processes
- writing complex SQL queries, designing database structures, optimizing query performance;
- development of integration solutions using REST API, SOAP, message brokers (Kafka)
- active participation in discussions on architectural solutions, selection of technologies and tools for implementing new features
- conducting code reviews for colleagues, writing clean, maintainable code, covering new functionality with unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito)
- identifying bottlenecks and optimizing existing code to improve application performance and stability
- close collaboration with analysts, QA engineers, DevOps specialists, and other developers within an Agile/Scrum team
- preparation of technical documentation for developed functionality
- assistance in resolving production incidents.
What we expect from the candidate
- strong knowledge of Java/Kotlin
- strong knowledge of the Spring ecosystem
- commercial development experience of 5+ years
- deep knowledge of Kafka and related technologies
- experience with SQL/noSQL databases, S3 storage
- understanding of containerized environments and DevOps
- knowledge of architectural design approaches for high-load back-end applications, understanding of bottlenecks
- experience with and application of AI tools.
