Lead ML System Analyst

About the company:

MAGNIT TECH is a large accredited IT company, the technological core and digital driver of the Magnit retail chain. They work on large-scale products: smart store, robotization, GenAI, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and formalize requirements for the product and its modules. • Develop data requirements: sources, composition, schemas, and data contracts. • Describe integrations, APIs, and interaction between systems. • Decompose requirements and assign tasks to development and Data Engineering teams. • Create and maintain architectural diagrams, data flows, and technical documentation. • Document ML components at the system level: inputs, outputs, dependencies, and use cases.

Requirements:

• At least 2.5 years of experience as a system analyst and the ability to manage tasks independently. • Experience in describing requirements and integrations between information systems. • Ability to work with APIs, data structures, and flows. • Basic SQL knowledge; experience with Jira and Confluence. • Ability to read and create architectural diagrams and structure complex information.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with ML or Data products. • Experience with Big Data. • Understanding of retail, pricing, or promotion processes; experience launching products from scratch.

Tech Stack:

SQL, REST API, Kafka, Airflow, Spark, S3/Hadoop, PostgreSQL, Docker/Kubernetes, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, UML/BPMN/ArchiMate, Python (ML services)
