Purchasing Director (food / retail / manufacturing)

A network of production and sales of bakery and confectionery products, Saint Petersburg

We are not looking for a "purchasing manager".

We are looking for a person who will reduce the cost price and bring order to procurement.

If you don't have real cost-saving cases – this role is not for you.

Tasks:

• Reduction of procurement cost price.
• Tough negotiations with suppliers.
• Launching tenders and rebuilding the supplier base.
• Building a system (instead of manual management).
• Controlling inventory, shortages, and turnover.
• Implementing KPIs and transparent reporting.
• Synchronizing procurement with production and logistics.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Purchasing Director / Head of Procurement.
• Food / FMCG / retail / manufacturing — mandatory.
• Real cost-saving cases (verifiable).
• Experience managing large-scale purchases (billions of ₽).
• Ability to build a system, not work "manually".
• A firm stance in negotiations and responsibility for results.
