Requirements

• "Algorithms and Data Structures. Ability to estimate algorithm complexity.
• Knows algorithms and data structures from a standard course.
• Knows complexity estimation for data structures from the standard library.
• Familiarity with advanced algorithms: probabilistic algorithms, external memory algorithms, graph algorithms, TViMS.
• Limit theorems and their application: hypothesis testing, bootstrap, A/B tests, convergence conditions, variance reduction, causal inference, Bayesian optimization, graphical models, Gaussian processes, ML.
• Understands ML algorithms, including SOTA methods, in their domain.
• Effectively adapts them to solve problems when necessary.
• Builds models from standard components.
• Understands the steps of the ML development lifecycle and their interaction within a project and develops architecture for the product.
• Understands which business metrics need to be monitored for the model.
• Can propose proxy metrics and loss functions related to business metrics.
• Can roll out a simple model into a pilot, implement a method from a paper, integrate a component into an existing pipeline.
• Familiar with less common ML methods (e.g., Bayesian models/PGM/VBI, RL, etc.).
• Develops a forecasting approach, understands the limitations of methods, proxy metrics, and the need for new SOTA knowledge in specific areas. MLOps
• Can fit a model once, check if it's alive upon request, update, deploy any necessary software in the cluster, version models, data, monitor model performance, data quality.

• Technical implementation of data science solutions in department products.
• Formulation of data requirements for the development of mathematical models within big data product releases.
• Analysis of the subject area to improve model quality and formulate proposals for achieving the goals of big data projects and products."
