We are currently looking for a skilled Python developer who can thoughtfully delve into tasks and develop the backend architecture of our services, maintaining its reliability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- designing new services and developing technical solutions "from scratch";
- writing concise SQL queries (ORM is not our way) and getting the most out of PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, ElasticSearch;
- evolving existing code: refactoring, reworking, improving architecture step by step;
- working under high loads and with terabytes of data;
- performing code reviews, sharing experience, and maintaining a healthy team atmosphere.
What we expect from the candidate:
- 3+ years of commercial development experience – confident command of Python;
- technical education;
- deep knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL / ElasticSearch – ability to profile and optimize queries, desire to study intricacies, tune performance, implement best practices;
- understanding of design patterns and web application architecture;
- ability to understand someone else's codebase without complete rewriting;
- ability to independently solve complex problems, estimate timelines, and meet deadlines.
