Editor-in-Chief of RU TV KIDS
One of the largest Russian media holdings, "Russian Media Group," which includes "Russkoe Radio," DFM, Hit FM, MAXIMUM, radio Monte Carlo, as well as the music television channel RU.TV, is opening a vacancy due to the active development of the company: Editor-in-Chief of RU TV Kids .
Responsibilities:
- Formation of the editorial policy and concept of the special project (social media, online platform with broadcasting, concert events); approval of the content plan in all areas;
- Control of content compliance with legislation (436-FZ, advertising, media) and age ratings;
- Selection of songs (repertoire) for children to perform at concert events and in the special project's content;
- Content rights management, interaction with RAO/VOIS and copyright holders;
- Interaction with Roskomnadzor and regulators on media and cable broadcasting licensing issues;
- Management of the editorial team, control of the quality of finished content;
- Control the quality of finished programs, accept finished programs;
- Reporting to the head of the special project on content;
- Organize archival storage of released content.
Requirements:
- Higher education;
- Advanced training courses in media law, media legislation, child psychology/pedagogy are welcomed;
- Experience of 3+ years working with children's content is an advantage;
- High level of responsibility, promptness in completing tasks, and strict adherence to deadlines;
- Understanding the specifics of the music industry and music licensing;
- Skill in selecting repertoire appropriate for the age and vocal abilities of child performers;
- Creative approach to solving assigned tasks;
- English language at A2 level.
