The Center for Practical AI is a division of Sber that handles complex AI projects and solves non-trivial tasks for the bank and the Sber ecosystem.
We invite Machine Learning Engineers to join our team, whose goal is to create high-tech AI tools and agent systems and turn them into production-ready solutions.
Our projects include:
● Developing end-to-end solutions for business tasks and implementing them.
● Developing internal and open-source tools, agent systems, and AI products.
● Research in the field of Supervised ML / DL, foundational models, LLMs, agent systems, their adaptation, and application.
Responsibilities
- execute the full product development cycle, including training and inference of ML/DL models, setting up CI/CD, integration with internal and external systems
- participate in formulating and testing hypotheses to improve model and pipeline quality
- participate in defining requirements, selecting and configuring infrastructure, developing prototypes, and final product versions.
- Maintain and develop codebase standards, conduct reviews, oversee engineering practices (testing, logging, monitoring)
- interact with business clients.
Requirements
- deep knowledge of classical ML/DL (Tabular, TS) and/or NLP (LLM, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, etc.)
- strong technical skills and excellent knowledge of Python, PyTorch, development tools, and infrastructure (git, bash, Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift)
- experience in developing and productionizing ML models, packaging them into services and interfaces (FastAPI / Flask / Tornado, StreamLit / ChainLit, etc.)
- proficiency with CI/CD tools for ML (GitLab CI / GitHub Actions)
It is an advantage if you have:
- experience building prototypes and MVPs
- experience with concurrency and asynchrony
- participation in competitions and/or research projects
- application of modern architectures in structured data analysis tasks (Tabular, TS)
- understanding of LLM inference and training technologies, building agent systems.
