AI writes it from your resume. You only have to send it.
We are looking for a person who can handle both graphics and motion. Not two contractors, but one who keeps the entire product's visuals in mind — from a symbol on the reel to a promo video.
Product: A gaming platform with slots and games.
What you will do
Game Graphics — the core of the job:
— Create entire slots: symbols, reels, backgrounds, frames, game logos, UI for the game screen
— Maintain a consistent visual style for the game from concept to final assets
— Slice and package assets for the engine: sprite sheets, atlases (TexturePacker), @1x/@2x, reasonable texture sizes
Animation — the second half of the job, not a "bonus":
— Idle loops for symbols, win animations, big win / mega win, reactions to scatters and wilds
— Spins, reel stops, transition animations between screens and bonus rounds
— Particles, glows, shakes, timings, and easing — the elements that make a game feel "expensive" or cheap
— Skeletal animation for characters (Spine / Rive), frame-by-frame — where it's more appropriate
— Promo and onboarding: videos with characters for social media and landing pages, including AI-generated content
Working with Frontend:
— Deliver animations in a format that developers can easily integrate: correct export formats, atlases, JSON skeletons, Lottie — for what PixiJS actually supports
— Understand budgets: asset weight, memory usage for textures, what will bottleneck at 60 fps on an average mobile device
— Stay in communication with development and managers: discuss tasks before they are drawn, check in during progress, answer questions during integration
Interface and Design System:
— Design screens: user flows → prototype → mockups
— Build Figma files that are scalable: components, auto layout, variables, states, responsiveness, Dev Mode
— Develop the design system with localization in mind: multi-currency, varying string lengths, different date and number formats
— Think about the product, not just draw according to the brief: come up with your own solutions
We are looking for
— A portfolio with game graphics and animation — slots, casual games, any interactive projects. Concepts without production don't show the full picture
— Motion design is mandatory: After Effects, Spine and/or Rive; AI video generation (Runway, Kling, Sora — whatever you actually use)
— Figma proficiency at the level of building files that won't fall apart by the third sprint
— Understanding of frontend capabilities and limitations, ideally specifically PixiJS: what renders cheaply and what will kill performance
— Understanding that in the fintech part, the interface is responsible for trust: how to display commission, payment status, errors in a way that doesn't make people nervous
— Ability to explain your decisions and reach agreements with the team, not just silently render
— Readiness to work at a common pace: calls, status updates, deadlines
Bonus points
— Experience in iGaming, slots, game development
— English at B1 level
— Understanding of what is expensive and what is not in frontend development
Conditions
— Middle level
— Salary range is negotiable
— Remote format, employment type is negotiable, we prefer full-time
How to apply
Send your portfolio and briefly describe the most challenging task from it and why. Motion design works must be separate: links to videos, reels, Spine/Rive previews — anything that can be viewed in motion, not just a static screenshot.
