We are looking for a versatile motion designer-animator for a gaming platform with slots. You will need to handle game graphics (symbols, backgrounds, UI) and animation (Spine/Rive, After Effects), as well as design interfaces in Figma and work closely with development on PixiJS.
Responsibilities:
- Draw entire slots: symbols, reels, backgrounds, frames, game logo, UI of the game screen
- Maintain a unified visual style of the game from concept to final assets
- Slice and pack assets for the engine: spritesheets, atlases (TexturePacker), @1x/@2x, reasonable texture sizes
- Create idle loops for symbols, win animations, big win / mega win, reactions to scatters and wilds
- Create spins, reel stops, transition animations between screens and bonus rounds
- Work with particles, glows, shakes, timings, and easing
- Create skeletal animation for characters (Spine / Rive), frame-by-frame animation where it's more appropriate
- Create promos and onboarding: videos with characters for social media and landing pages, including AI generation
- Export animations in correct formats: atlases, JSON skeletons, Lottie – for PixiJS
- Understand the budget: scene weight, memory usage of textures, what will hit 60 fps on an average mobile device
- Be in constant communication with development and managers: discuss tasks before drawing, check in during the process, answer questions during integration
- Design screens: scenarios → prototype → mockups
- Assemble Figma files at a "scalable" level: components, auto layout, variables, states, adaptivity, Dev Mode
- Develop a design system with a focus on localization: multi-currency, different string lengths, other date and number formats
- Think about the product, not just draw according to the brief: come up with your own solutions
Requirements:
- Portfolio with game graphics and animation – slots, casual games, any interactive projects
- Motion design is mandatory: After Effects, Spine and/or Rive; AI video generation (Runway, Kling, Sora – what you actually use)
- Figma skills at the level of assembling files that don't fall apart by the third sprint
- Understanding of frontend capabilities and limitations, ideally – specifically PixiJS
- Understanding that in the fintech part, the interface is responsible for trust: how to show commission, payment status, errors so that a person doesn't get nervous
- Ability to explain your decisions and negotiate with the team, not just silently draw
- Readiness to work at a common pace: calls, status updates, deadlines
Conditions:
- Middle level
- Salary range is negotiable
- Remote format, employment type is negotiable, we prefer full-time
Skills:
- After Effects
- Spine
- Rive
- Figma
- PixiJS
- TexturePacker

- Runway
- Kling
- Sora
