Responsibilities:
- Detect and document defects and non-conformities in manufactured equipment.
- Metrological testing of equipment on a laboratory bench and in field conditions.
- Maintain test logs and prepare reporting documentation.
- Development of technical documentation and testing methodologies.
- Work with technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Interact with production and design departments on issues related to equipment development and production processes.
- Testing new components used in production
Requirements:
- Higher technical education in the field of instrument engineering, metrology, radio engineering, or related disciplines.
- Ability to work with measuring instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, frequency meters, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
- At least 5 years of experience as an engineer, including design, testing, and metrological support of measuring systems.
- Knowledge in the field of metrology, standardization, and measurement methods.
- Skills in conducting tests and manual testing of geophysical and geodetic equipment.
- Experience in verification, checking, and calibration of measuring instruments in accordance with industry standards.
- Experience interacting with government bodies in the field of measurement uniformity will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and 3D printing technologies will be an advantage.
- Experience in designing devices (electronic, optical, geophysical) using CAD systems will be an advantage.
- Ability to program and write scripts in MATLAB or Python is welcome (for processing and analyzing test data).

The work involves constant equipment testing, maintaining a database of manufactured devices (by serial numbers), firmware testing, as well as developing technical documentation (testing methodologies, instructions, calibration certificates, etc.). Possible business trips within a 50-100 km radius of Almaty (during working hours) for equipment testing.
