Description

We maintain and develop a system for centralized operational and management reporting on operations in global financial markets. This is a key element for ensuring the trade product control processes of the Sber Group.

To calculate various reporting forms, over 5 million trades are loaded into our domain daily, and we have very high requirements for data quality and reporting deadlines. The development of these subject areas is handled by a friendly and professional team of 7 people. Processes for interaction with customers, support and maintenance, product control, etc., are clearly established. Overall product development follows the Agile methodology, and development is done in a DevOps environment.

Subject area: conversion, derivatives (PFI), and brokerage.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

• develop a system for generating management reporting in financial markets
• implement ETL processes and integration solutions
• conduct refactoring of existing functionality, task estimation, and decomposition
• participate in Code Review.

Requirements

Technologies used:

• Greenplum
• OLAP cubes
• MS SQL
• Internal BI
• BitBucket/Git.

We expect from you:

• development experience with one of several DBMSs: Greenplum/Teradata/MS SQL
• advanced SQL proficiency (stored procedures, functions, query optimization)
• experience working with Jira, BitBucket/Git, Confluence
• understanding of data warehouse (DWH) architecture, ETL data loading processes (incremental, archival)
• understanding of the principles of constructing and working with OLAP cubes
• knowledge of key banking processes and products is a plus.
