Chief Plant Manager | Head of Refinery Production

Willingness to relocate to West Africa for 12 months**

Key objective is to bring the refinery to full production capacity through technical assessment, planning and execution of upgrade projects, as well as preparing local specialists for future leadership roles.

Key requirements: — Mandatory requirement: fluent in English and Russian (spoken and written), including technical terminology of a refinery — Higher engineering education (chemical, process, mechanical, or oil and gas) — 10–20 years of experience in refinery production management, refinery operations, or plant operations — Deep expertise in refinery technological processes, equipment, and technical systems — Experience in supporting refinery capacity modernization, expansion, and optimization projects — Practical experience in commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and operational optimization — Leadership experience: managing technical and production teams, competency development, mentoring.

The Chief Plant Manager will be responsible for all production and technical efficiency of the refinery: safe, stable, and reliable operation, process optimization, coordination with maintenance/HSE/procurement, technical leadership, and local team development.

Conditions: 📍 Full-time, site-based position with expatriate rotation and planned home leave periods 📋 Contract: 12 months (with extension, based on KPI results and operational needs)
