Project for the launch of SOP, DCP chemical production

A large chemical company is preparing for the active phase of commissioning (P&NR) at a new production site in Kazakhstan.
As part of the launch and ramp-up to industrial capacity of a large-scale chemical complex for the production of mineral fertilizers, two experts are required:
- Potassium Sulfate (SOP) Production Expert
- Dicalcium Phosphate (DCP) Production Expert
The main goal of the role is the successful technological launch of production "from scratch", carrying out P&NR and bringing the new production to design capacity in terms of volume and quality of the finished product.
Main expert tasks on the project:
💻 Expert Requirements:
- Higher technical or chemical education: process engineer, chemical technologist
- Successful practical experience in commissioning, start-up, and ramp-up to design capacity of relevant chemical production facilities
- Total experience in the chemical industry from 6 years
- Experience as Chief Process Engineer, Production Manager, or Lead P&NR Expert
- Deep knowledge of the technology of the corresponding production
- Readiness to work in an intensive launch mode
- Ability to make quick technical decisions at the commissioning site

Format:
Project-based participation.
Location:
Kazakhstan.
General tasks for experts:
- Management of the process of individual and integrated equipment testing.
- Ensuring the readiness of technological units for the first start-up.
- Stabilization and optimization of the technological regime.
- Phased increase in production volumes to design indicators.
- Tuning processes for stable production of the required quality product.
- Collaboration with the international EPC contractor and equipment chief engineers during P&NR and defect resolution.
- Development, updating, and implementation of P&NR programs, start-up regulations, and operational technological instructions.
- Briefing, practical training, and certification of operational personnel at their workplaces during the start-up period.
For the SOP production expert, it is important:
- experience in launching potassium sulfate (SOP) production using the Mannheim or conversion method
- understanding of high-temperature synthesis processes, operation of muffle furnaces, cooling, and transportation of hot powders
- understanding of gas absorption processes, creation of hydrochloric acid solutions, and SOP granulation
For the DCP production expert, it is important:
- experience in launching dicalcium phosphate (DCP), monocalcium phosphate (MCP) or similar mineral fertilizer and feed phosphate production facilities
- understanding of raw material dosing processes, reaction synthesis, suspension filtration, drying, classification, granulation, and packaging
