🎮 Owlcat Games is looking for a Senior Accountant (Deputy Chief Accountant) 📍 Location: Paphos, Cyprus

We are looking for a strong specialist and the right hand for our Chief Accountant

📋 Responsibilities:

• Full accounting cycle: in accordance with IFRS and local standards.
• Period closing: perform Month-End / Year-End procedures, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, appendices).
• Reconciliations and adjustments: regular reconciliation of GL accounts, bank accounts, intercompany settlements, preparation of accruals and prepayments.
• Audit and consultants: full support of external audits, preparation of audit schedules, communication with auditors, tax consultants, and providers.
• Taxes and fixed assets: preparation of VAT declarations, maintenance of the fixed assets register and depreciation.
• Automation and ERP: optimization of processes in Oracle NetSuite, participation in automation projects and implementation of AI tools.

🎯 Our expectations:

• Qualification: ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience: from 5 years in accounting, including experience in Senior Accountant / Chief Accountant / Deputy Chief Accountant positions.
• Knowledge: deep understanding of IFRS, Cypriot tax and accounting legislation, experience in independently managing the full accounting cycle and preparing VAT.
• Audit: practical experience in independently undergoing external audits and direct communication with auditors/tax experts.
• Fluent English.

Will be an advantage:

• Experience with Oracle NetSuite.
• Experience in international groups / IT or GameDev companies.
