We are looking for a Middle Fullstack Developer to develop corporate web projects and create new websites and landing pages. The main focus is on the frontend: approximately 60% frontend and 40% backend.
In this role, you will work with interfaces and PHP backend: analyze existing projects, fix bugs, add functionality, and verify results. Independence, attention to detail, and readiness to discuss solutions with the team are important to us.
Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
- Improving and developing existing corporate websites, identifying and fixing bugs.
- Creating new websites and landing pages, implementing adaptive layout for desktops and mobile devices.
- Developing interfaces using React, Next.js, and Astro.
- Developing PHP backend, creating and modifying APIs, integrating third-party services.
- Working with MySQL/MariaDB: writing SQL queries, modifying data, and performing migrations.
- Working with the existing authentication, authorization, and access rights system.
- Deploying projects in a Docker environment, verifying changes, and running existing tests.
- Working with GitHub: creating Pull Requests, participating in code reviews, and discussing changes.
- Supporting older PHP projects as needed.
Requirements
What is important for this role:
- Commercial web development experience at the Middle level, including both frontend and backend tasks.
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in independent adaptive layout implementation.
- Practical experience with React or another modern frontend framework and willingness to work with React/Next.js.
- Commercial PHP development experience and understanding of OOP. Our projects primarily use PHP 8.0–8.4, with some projects using PHP 7.
- Experience with MySQL/MariaDB or similar relational DBMS. Ability to write basic SQL queries, including JOIN, and understanding of migrations.
- Understanding of client-server architecture and REST API: HTTP methods, response codes, JSON, and frontend-backend interaction.
- Basic understanding of sessions, cookies, tokens, and user access control.
- Experience with Git: branches, Pull Requests, merging changes, and resolving simple conflicts.
- Ability to independently analyze unfamiliar code, find the root causes of errors, and verify the results of fixes.
Will be an advantage:
- Experience with Next.js, Astro, TypeScript, SCSS, and Tailwind CSS.
- Familiarity with Composer, Doctrine ORM, migration tools, Mezzio, Laminas, or Symfony Components.
- Using Docker and Docker Compose for running existing projects, familiarity with GitHub Actions.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs, working with OpenAPI/Swagger, and automated testing.
- Experience supporting legacy PHP projects and basic Linux and SSH skills.
Experience specifically with Astro, Mezzio, and Laminas is not required. We value a strong technical foundation and the ability to learn tools on the job.
