An international product company developing and supporting high-load projects for large companies, the main part of which are online entertainment services, is looking for a Database Developer.
Responsibilities
- Develop database architecture and stored procedure code for new services side-by-side with experienced developers.
- Support and, if necessary, optimize the company's current products – including both CIS market leaders and products popular worldwide.
- Attend industry conferences, share experiences with colleagues, and constantly discover new possibilities of the MySQL language.
Required Skills
- Write stored procedures in SQL with the maximum set of algorithmic capabilities – loops, cursors, recursive algorithms, etc.
- Build fault-tolerant database systems based on MySQL or similar relational databases.
- Know how to optimize SQL queries, be able to interpret the output of EXPLAIN, SHOW PROFILE.
- Able to develop and optimize data schemas, as well as make changes to them with minimal downtime.
- Familiar with replication setup (master-slave, master-master), GTID.
- Able to work for results and strive to meet deadlines (there is no strict bureaucracy in the team, the team is very friendly and works conscientiously).
