🟡About the project: We are developing a big data analytics platform in fintech and are looking for an engineer to help scale our data warehouse.

🟡Responsibilities: Data pipeline development: Design and implementation of ETL/ELT processes for loading and transforming data from various sources; Custom transformations: Implementation of complex business logic and non-standard data transformations; Prototyping and data marts: Design and construction of prototypes, creation of data marts for analytics and reporting; Optimization and scaling: Performance analysis of existing pipelines, optimization of SQL queries and database structures, participation in system scaling; PL/pgSQL development: Writing stored procedures, functions, and triggers for PostgreSQL; DWH Architecture: Development of data warehouse architecture, analysis and selection of optimal technologies, methodologies (Data Vault, Inmon, Kimball) and tools; Documentation and knowledge: Creation and updating of a knowledge base, technical documentation, and guides for DWH users.

❗️Requirements:

Key Competencies ETL ELT Data Vault EDW Data Lake

Experience in developing ETL/ELT processes from [2-3] years; Proficient SQL and experience in optimizing complex queries; Experience in PL/pgSQL development (stored procedures, functions, triggers); Understanding of data warehouse design methodologies: Data Vault, EDW, Data Lake; Experience in designing data marts and working with large volumes of data; Understanding of database scaling and performance optimization principles; Skills in documenting solutions and knowledge transfer to the team. Will be an advantage: Experience with orchestration tools: Apache Airflow, Luigi, Dagster; Familiarity with distributed systems: Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka; Experience with cloud platforms (Yandex Cloud, S3, ClickHouse, Greenplum); Knowledge of Python/Java for developing custom transformations; Experience in implementing Data Quality processes and pipeline monitoring.
