Head of Legal / Руководитель юридического направления
Responsibilities:
- Structure the work of business units through international legal entities: establish processes, ensure compliance with jurisdictional requirements, organize document flow.
- Study the market and propose the use of optimal jurisdictions at all stages, starting with the analysis, registration, and maintenance of legal entities in accordance with the requirements of local jurisdictions and international rules.
- Provide legal support for transactions.
- Develop a legal strategy for business protection.
- Interact with financial specialists for a comprehensive assessment of solutions, taking into account all financial, legal, and tax nuances.
- Lead a team, including recruitment and task assignment)
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in corporate and international law.
- At least 3 years of continuous work in one place (frequent job changes are not considered).
- Practical experience working in a holding company or group of companies with multiple jurisdictions simultaneously (not sequential work on different projects, but simultaneous support of several companies in different countries).
- Solid knowledge of corporate law, skills in structuring transactions between companies in different jurisdictions.
- Working level of English (oral and written).
- Understanding of basic tax law principles and the ability to find relevant tax information for joint solutions with finance.
- Ability to offer proactive solutions and build processes, not just react to requests.
- Experience with IT companies and Skolkovo residents (understanding of specifics is desirable).
- Experience in fintech, payment solutions, or working with international marketplaces will be a plus.
- Experience in legal consulting (an additional plus, but operational experience in business is mandatory).
