🔥 Vacancy: Head of Legal Function (CLO) at an IT company
Reporting to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership of the company's legal function on an international and, to a lesser extent, Russian scope.
- Full legal support of the company's activities and legal expertise of key business decisions, transactions, and projects, including international and Russian corporate law matters, venture investments, business acquisitions and sales, commercial/contractual block, litigation if necessary, etc.
- Regulatory block for licenses – interaction with regulators to obtain financial licenses (brokerage, dealing, crypto, etc.) worldwide;
- Management of a team of 8 people.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience with a focus on international law of 8-10 years in IT and high-tech companies, including 5 years of management experience;
- Experience in comprehensive legal business support and management of legal risks at the C-level;
- Expertise in international corporate law, investment, and partnership agreements;
- Successful experience interacting with regulators and obtaining financial licenses in different jurisdictions (a big advantage);
- English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
- Experience in automating legal processes. Proficiency in AI is an advantage.
