In MTS Bank we are looking for a Technical Director for the Digital Business tribe.
MTS Bank develops digital financial services and makes them accessible to everyone.
The Digital Business tribe is responsible for the key digital channels of MTS Bank for retail and business clients: mobile applications for iOS and Android, web banking, PWA, and DBO platforms.
You will have to design the target DBO platform, organize a phased transition to it, increase channel reliability, and build effective engineering processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing the target architecture of mobile and web channels, organizing a phased transition to it, and developing DBO as an internal platform (reusable SDKs, APIs, and shared services)
- Preparing systems for load growth, developing observability and capacity planning, improving incident management, and ensuring SLO fulfillment for availability, performance, and recovery time
- Managing development and operations through leads. Establishing delivery rules for product teams (Release Train, CI/CD, DevSecOps), restructuring the organization to align with the architecture, and growing productivity based on metrics
Candidate requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as CTO or Head of Development in departments of comparable scale (100+ people)
- Experience managing mass B2C products with an audience of 3 million+ MAU in fintech, e-commerce, or digital ecosystems
- Experience in leading technological transformation of large systems without stopping critical business processes (24/7)
- Strong engineering background: understanding of mobile and web development, microservices, Event-Driven architecture, and modern operational approaches
- Experience in evaluating, implementing, or scaling Kotlin Multiplatform in a large product (a plus)
- Experience in the banking sector, including information security and regulatory requirements (a plus)
