Commerce: Advertising
We are looking for a creative copywriter to join the Aviasales advertising team to brainstorm and create digital special projects for brands together. We work with both game mechanics and standard formats.
The main part of our work is text. But there are other tasks too: analyzing client briefs, brainstorming and refining special project ideas, thinking through mechanics and user journeys. We need someone who can write concisely and gather streams of ideas into beautiful concepts that resonate with clients.
What you'll do
- Brainstorm ideas for advertising special projects with the team, select the most successful ones, and refine them into concrete concepts;
- Develop special project mechanics and user journeys: what the user will see on each screen, what they will do, and how they will interact with the project;
- Describe ideas and mechanics in a way that is understandable to the client, designers, developers, and other team members;
- Write scripts for game special projects, landing pages, and short ad texts: banners, emails, and other formats;
- Communicate with clients, work with feedback, and justify your decisions;
- If necessary, engage with third-party contractors: assign tasks, edit texts, and provide feedback.
What we expect from you
- Over 3 years of experience in writing and editing commercial texts;
- Experience with advertising and marketing formats: for example, special projects, landing pages, banners, push notifications, emails, or other commercial texts;
- Ability to joke and maintain balance: you can write both subtly ironic and trashy, but you have a good sense of where one is appropriate and where the other is;
- Independence and readiness to make decisions about your work, but also the ability to approach the team for a second opinion or help in a timely manner;
- Ability to work with feedback and explain your decisions to clients and the team;
- Experience working with third-party contractors will be a plus.
Be sure to attach your portfolio to your application — it’s important for us to see your texts and understand which formats you are already familiar with.
We include a test assignment in the interview process. In it, we want to see not only the final text but also how you work with the task, brainstorm, and formulate solutions.
How we work
- from anywhere in the world: we are not tied to a location, we pay in dollars, we love to travel;
- no bureaucracy: convenient, healthy work processes, horizontal and open communication, quick discussion of ideas and decision-making;
- compensation: voluntary medical insurance, psychotherapy or foreign language courses, sports activities, and sick leave.
