Senior Java Developer for B2B Travel

About the company:

Yandex Travel is a service for trip planning: selecting tickets, hotels, and payment. A leader among hotel booking services in Russia. The team is working on a business travel service for businesses (small and medium-sized businesses, with large businesses in prospect).

Responsibilities:

• Development of the business travel service and product solutions in a cross-functional team. • Designing scalable architecture, improving stability and throughput. • Implementing new technologies, integrating with adjacent systems and automating processes. • Improving code quality and delivery speed.

Requirements:

• More than 6 years of commercial development on JVM or readiness to switch to JVM. • Willingness to work in a hybrid format or remotely from any city in the Russian Federation. • Deep dive into the product domain and understanding of user tasks. • Knowledge of performance issues (N+1, O(n²)) and experience in solving technical tasks end-to-end.

Will be a plus:

• Ability to use AI tools in work without delegating key decisions. • Experience working directly with clients.
