About Us — OneCell.ai We are creating a technological ecosystem for the digitalization of in-vivo morphological diagnostics. The focus is on oncology and related fields. Our goal is to make high-quality diagnostics fast, accessible, and reproducible.

To achieve this, we are developing AI tools, a cloud platform, and hardware, which forms the core of a digital laboratory. Our first scanner is already in use in medical institutions. The next stage is to transform it into a sustainable, profitable, and scalable business and to lay the foundation for the development of a product line.

About the Hardware Division The scanner is a separate business unit with its own P&L. The key task now is to establish the strategy, economics, and manageability of the division so that the product becomes a predictable business unit.

Speed of achieving goals is critical for us. We are looking for someone who can not only formulate a strategy but also ensure progress towards results.

Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a Head of Hardware Division — a person responsible for the strategy, economics, and product development. This is not an administrative role. This is a role of an owner of the result, who sees bottlenecks, quickly identifies inefficiencies, and knows how to eliminate them.

What You Will Do

• Formulate and implement the hardware division strategy;
• Build and manage unit economics;
• Formulate the product roadmap and development priorities;
• Make decisions on product configuration, balancing value and cost;
• Establish a systematic discovery process and market engagement;
• Work in a management link with the Delivery Manager, tech leads, Head of Production, and Product Expert;
• Ensure synchronization between the market, development, and production;
• Quickly identify inefficiencies in team operations or product solutions and initiate corrective actions;
• Quickly dive into technical and product details, understand limitations, and form solutions based on facts, not superficial perceptions;
• Accelerate progress towards the strategic goals of the division.

Key Competencies

• Experience in formulating product strategy;
• Experience in managing P&L for hardware or engineering products;
• Understanding of unit economics;
• Experience working with production and cost;
• Ability to identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the system;
• Ability to make unpopular decisions for the sake of results;
• Experience at the intersection of hardware + software.

Desired Experience

• 5+ years in product or management roles in engineering companies;
• Experience in bringing hardware products to market;
• Experience working in an environment with a production cycle.
