The main goal of our team is to make the internet safer for Yandex users. As is known, a significant portion of internet traffic is traffic from various robots and automations. Sometimes such traffic and its source can negatively impact company resources and, consequently, the user experience. We research and detect this type of traffic and its sources and are looking for a specialist to strengthen our team.

What tasks await you

Research and process automation You will research current trends in automating interactions with web resources. Reproduce and develop POCs for known patterns of robot behavior for the purpose of detection. Review existing proposed solutions in the field of bot traffic detection.

We expect you

• Have a good understanding of how modern browsers and the modern web work
• Know Python or Go — or are willing to switch to them
• Are familiar with modern client-side application protection technologies
• Have skills in technologies for automating work with web applications

It will be a plus if you

• Have dealt with parsing and anti-bot systems
• Have worked in the security field
• Have studied big data or have experience analyzing large data sets
• Have reverse engineering experience
