Responsibilities
Develop a clustered on-premise ClickHouse build for our own cloud infrastructure
Implement, scale, and maintain ClickHouse clusters in production
Develop DB-related infrastructure for the Data platform
Automate infrastructure processes and create internal tooling solutions
Develop and integrate role-based access control models for ClickHouse, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and other databases
Design naming conventions and custom role-based access control models for databases
Work with MPP and distributed query stacks, including Trino, Greenplum, Vertica, StarRocks, and other technologies
Participate in the development of performance, reliability, and scalability of Data infrastructures
Requirements
5+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE / DataOps
Deep practical expertise in ClickHouse and experience working with it in production
Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, storage, and performance
Experience with production troubleshooting and low-level tuning of Linux / *nix systems
Experience developing automation tools, preferably in Python and/or Go
Deep understanding of core Cybersecurity / AppSec principles, technologies, and tools
Experience with Karpenter
Experience optimizing AWS costs using Kubecost, Infracost, AWS tagging, and other approaches
Experience with ingress, load balancing, and traffic termination: Traefik, Istio, Nginx, SSL/TLS
Experience with Identity Management solutions: Authentik, Keycloak, Okta, or equivalents
Experience with VPN solutions: Pritunl, OpenVPN, WireGuard, Fortinet, or equivalents
Deep understanding of at least one analytical database, MPP system, or distributed query engine: ClickHouse, StarRocks, Trino, Greenplum, Doris, DuckDB, Vertica, or equivalents
