CIAN, a real estate search service, is looking for a Head of Product Analytics (Horizontal Products).
About the Product
Horizontal Products include five product teams: BX, SnR, MX, FinServices, Trust&Safety.
Processes:
To select the most promising hypotheses and test them inexpensively, the team continuously improves its processes. There is a discovery grooming session where product managers, analysts, and designers discuss and prioritize ideas through collective voting. This allows everyone on the team to influence focus areas. After selecting the best ideas, work is done according to the double diamond model: first, validating the problem, then the solution, to mitigate as many risks as possible before development begins.
Tasks to Solve:
In Management:
- Manage several analytical teams (10+ analysts and 3 TLs across all teams). Help effectively utilize available resources for business growth.
- Hire, professionally develop, and create a supportive team atmosphere.
- Design and structure the team to meet the needs of the direction.
- Develop processes that ensure the fulfillment of analytical tasks.
- Build interaction between the analytical team and stakeholders, both within the vertical and at the intersection with other departments.
In Analytics:
- Initiate and lead projects for data utilization to make strategic business decisions.
- Manage the search and implementation of new data analysis methods and best practices.
- Lead the development of data infrastructure, both with the team's own resources and by acting as a client for related teams.
- Synchronize teams under your leadership.
Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience with liquidity distribution analytics, monetization, auctions, and B2B clients.
- Has experience in designing and conducting complex A/B tests for price/liquidity volume changes (switchback, bandits, etc.). Experience in building infrastructure for complex tests will be a plus.
- Can evaluate the results of launches without A/B testing (using synthetic control methods).
- Has experience managing multiple analytics teams.
- Can build interaction with product and development teams.
- Proficient in SQL – advanced level (subqueries/window functions/complex joins).
- Proficient in Python (pandas/numpy/scipy/statsmodels/matplotlib/seaborn/plotly).
- Has experience working with one of the BI systems (Tableau, PowerBI, Redash, FineBI, DataLens, etc.).
