We're Hiring: Content Manager (Short-Form & YouTube)
We're hiring two people for this role: one Content Manager for Short-Form (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and one for YouTube (long-form). Both work the same way; the tracks differ in platform and in a few duties, marked below. Tell us which track you're applying for, or both.
About us
We are two brands in Dubai real estate.
- Forever Estates is a real estate advisory and brokerage for international investors, built on a YouTube-first content strategy.
- Patron is a mortgage brokerage for expats buying a home in the UAE. Content is how most of our clients find us, so this role sits at the centre of the business.
The role
Content Manager (Short-Form / YouTube)
You run our content pipeline across both brands, from spotting what works to a published, tested video. You own the process: every piece moves through research, scripting, filming, editing and publishing on time, and everyone knows what to do next.
What you'll do (both tracks)
Research and ideas
- Build and maintain a list of creators, channels and research tools worth tracking on your platform.
- Go through them regularly and collect what outperforms, and write down the core idea behind it and how it could work for our brands.
- Turn this into a ranked list of ideas.
Planning
- Present ideas to the Founder & CEO, who picks the topics.
- Prepare for and join alignment calls with our external growth partners, and document what was agreed.
- Brief our research team on what to analyse for each topic, and track it until it's ready.
- Write the first draft of the script once research is done.
Production
- After filming, organise footage in our folder structure.
- Assign editors and brief them clearly: format, script, key facts, footage and references.
- Review the edits against the brief and give timestamped feedback, then bring the pre-final cut to the Founder for approval.
- Occasionally: book a camera operator, check property availability with agents, and schedule shoot days.
Keeping things running
- Keep every Notion board and Dropbox folder up to date.
- Manage the editor pool: deadlines, chasing, trials and onboarding new editors, and invoice tracking.
- Use the weekly performance reports to spot what to double down on.
Track-specific duties
Short-Form track
- Research Instagram and short-form creators: the concept, the hook that worked, the core idea
- Align with our Instagram growth partner
- Find our champion reels, get approval to repurpose or remake them, and get the new versions edited
- Post new reels as Instagram trial reels, then schedule the winners
- Write captions following our captions guide
YouTube track
- Research YouTube channels: titles, thumbnails, intros, concepts and formats
- Align with our YouTube strategist
- Brief our thumbnail designer, manage revisions, and get final approval
- Prepare the full upload package: title, description, chapters, tracking links, QR codes and lead magnet
- Upload and schedule videos on YouTube
- Read retention and skip data on each test, and propose what to cut, change or test next
- Watch YouTube strategy content and bring your own ideas
Who we're looking for
There's no fixed experience requirement. You could be:
- early in your career, with no formal experience but very structured and a strong researcher, or
- someone with experience in a creative agency, a marketing agency, any marketing function, or a related field.
What matters:
- You're highly organised. Deadlines, folders and boards stay under control without anyone reminding you.
- You're a good researcher, and you can explain why a piece of content worked, not just that it did.
- You follow up. You chase people politely and relentlessly until things get done.
- You're fluent in English
- You're curious about content and willing to learn analytics, editing feedback and packaging on the job.
- Short-Form plus: you live on Instagram and have a feel for hooks and what makes people stop scrolling.
- YouTube plus: you watch a lot of YouTube and notice why some titles and thumbnails get the click.
How you'll work
- You report directly to the Founder & CEO.
- You own the process, not the final creative call. The Founder & CEO approves topics, pre-final cuts and anything involving budget.
- You can approve edit fixes, captions, scheduling slots and editor deadlines yourself.
- The two Content Managers work side by side and share editors, research and processes.
The details
- Two positions: Short-Form and YouTube.
- Full-time or part-time. We're open to both.
- Location: remote.
- Compensation: depends on seniority.
How to apply
Fill in the application form and tell us which track you're interested in: short-form, long-form, or both. Shortlisted candidates get a short test task based on real work.
