ChatPlace is a SaaS platform for bloggers, experts, and entrepreneurs who promote and sell their products through content. Users create AI agents, chatbots, gamifications, and other tools that help attract, engage, and convert audiences into sales.
We are building an AI-first team and actively using agents and AI tools for code writing, testing, reviews, bug diagnostics, and documentation. We are looking for individuals who resonate with this approach and know how to move faster with AI while maintaining quality and control over the result.
We are looking for a Middle Backend Developer to strengthen the team in daily work on the product: they will be responsible for closing features and bugs, working with the platform's AI functions, and helping us move faster. We need someone who is already confident with our stack and ready to jump into tasks immediately — without a long ramp-up.
What you will do:
- Implement features based on provided descriptions and bring them to production release
- Analyze and fix bugs: from diagnostics to fixes and production verification
- Participate in the development of the platform's AI functions: agents, automation scenarios, knowledge base, and mechanisms for working with LLMs
- Improve product stability and speed
- Collaborate with senior developers and the product team
Our ideal candidate:
- 3–5 years of commercial experience in backend development
- Confident experience with our stack: PHP and Laravel – mandatory, Go – a big plus
- Experience with Doctrine ORM
- Experience with PostgreSQL: schema design, query optimization
- Experience with production systems: careful releases, bug handling, responsibility for results
- Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar code and existing architecture
- Independence: ability to take on a task and complete it without micromanagement
- Willingness to actively use AI in daily work
Will be a plus:
- Experience with LLM features: AI API integrations, prompts, RAG, agents
- Understanding of how AI scenarios work: context, memory, routing, fallback, knowledge base
- Basic frontend skills (Vue.js / React) – to be able to complete tasks end-to-end if necessary
- Experience in a startup or a small product team
