Music publishing house Creative Media invites a Scout-Listener of Creative Works of Little-Known Artists to join the team.
Creative Media is a publisher and distributor of music and video works in digital content format throughout the Russian Federation, CIS countries, and near abroad.
Requirements:
- A very strong interest in contemporary music and readiness to regularly listen to a large number of new tracks, releases, and demos
- Ability to listen to music not only for pleasure but also analytically, paying attention to vocals, material, delivery, style, and the overall potential of the artist
- Deep knowledge of the contemporary music scene, a confident understanding of current trends, from indie and electronic experimentalism to hip-hop, R&B, rock movements, and global fusion trends
- Sensitivity to trends, the ability to track what is gaining momentum on social media, streaming playlists, and underground club scenes, the ability to "look beyond the horizon" and spot an artist who will be at the top tomorrow
- A refined musical ear and an analytical eye, the ability to identify the strengths of a song or artist from the first seconds
Responsibilities:
- Listen to demos, new tracks, and releases from little-known artists, carefully analyzing the material of each discovered artist
- Immerse yourself in music platforms in search of interesting and promising artists who have not yet gained wide recognition
- Search for new artists on social networks, music communities, and other platforms where independent musicians appear
- Track fresh releases and new names, trying to find strong projects as early as possible
- Evaluate artists' vocals, including timbre, performance style, expressiveness, recognizability, and ability to hold the listener's attention
- Analyze musical material, melodies, lyrics, track structure, memorability, overall concept, and potential viability
