We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer a fully remote, contract-to-hire basis
A global management consulting firm is scaling its engineering arm to capture end-to-end implementation revenue and build technical credibility with Fortune 500 clients. Strategy alone is no longer enough. Consulting teams are recommending digital transformation initiatives without the engineering depth to assess technical feasibility, infrastructure limits, or architectural complexity. Unviable recommendations are reaching clients before anyone flags them. Projects are failing at scoping. Poor technical estimates, undefined deliverables, and unmitigated risks are causing runaway scope before contracts are signed. Clients are struggling to hold external software vendors accountable. There is no internal engineering authority to validate code quality, set technical KPIs, or translate between business stakeholders and delivery teams. Consultants are losing thousands of billable hours to manual data crunching, repetitive spreadsheet builds, and slide deck production. Internal automation tooling does not exist at the scale the firm needs. The firm is advising clients on Generative AI while lacking the internal guardrails to deploy it safely. Proprietary client data is at risk without secure, private LLM architecture backing internal productivity tools. Junior engineers are churning due to the absence of structured technical mentorship and engineering process maturity. The firm is losing its ability to build a sustainable technical talent pipeline.
