Media Volunteer for the IRONSTAR Sports Festival Team

Volunteers for the press service are invited to the IRONSTAR triathlon festival.

IRONSTAR unites professionals and amateurs in cyclic sports. Within the framework of the competitions, individual and team races, starts for children and people with disabilities are held.

The goal of IRONSTAR is to create an effective model for the development of amateur sports, in which state, regional and municipal authorities, public organizations, and sports clubs can work together, improve the quality of events, and create a positive economic effect in the places where competitions are held.

A media volunteer is a specialist engaged in informational support of the event through photography, videography, interviewing participants, and preparing materials for social networks and official IRONSTAR VLNT channels.

Main functions of a media volunteer:

• Photography: shooting photos of participants, spectators, and the event's atmosphere
• Video: recording video clips, interviews with participants and spectators, preparing reports
• Interviewing: communicating with participants, athletes, guests, and volunteers of the event, obtaining comments and feedback
• Content editing: processing photos and videos
• Social networks: publishing photos and videos on the event's official accounts
• Infographics: creating visual materials reflecting the statistics and dynamics of the competition

Requirements for candidates:

• Ability to handle photo and video equipment
• Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editors
• Ability to create high-quality content within tight deadlines

This position allows you to gain valuable experience in sports photography and journalism while taking a direct part in a significant international event.

Responsibilities:

• Photography, photo processing, forming the event's photo bank, creating photoshoots for organizations, individuals, and animals.
• Videography/editing of video and audio clips
• Preparation of text content for the event: interviews with organizers and participants, surveys, post texts
• Finding heroes for photoshoots and materials
