Lead System Analyst (enterprise / monitoring platform) at COMS

Format: Remote within Russia/Hybrid (optional), office located in Moscow Focus Area: Monitoring

COMS is a product-based accredited IT company. We are developing an IT infrastructure monitoring platform (C-VIEW): an enterprise-level on-premise product + implementation and customization projects for clients.

We are looking for a Lead Analyst to enhance the quality of requirements elaboration and eliminate bottlenecks in the analytics process.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining Analytics Quality — Decompose complex features (systemically, not just user stories) — Elaborate logic, states, scenarios, and implementation risks — Eliminate ambiguity, bring requirements to an implementable level

Preparation for Development — Ensure the description of definitions of ready and compliance of the result with key metrics — Prepare tasks for estimation (grooming / PBG) — Collaborate closely with development and leads

System Design — Design integrations (ITSM, monitoring, logs), component interactions, data flows — Participate in solution architecture discussions

Development Support — Answer team questions, clarify requirements during development — Update documentation as implemented

Analytics Team Management (2 people) — Enhance their skill level, control the quality of requirements — Implement standards: checklists, templates, a unified approach

Product Work — Participate in feature elaboration with PM and PO + consider client customizations — Balance between solution universality and project requirements

Requirements: — Lead / Senior System Analyst experience of 3+ years — Strong system analysis skills: complex systems, integrations, states, and processes — Ability to bring requirements to an implementable level — Direct experience working with development teams — Tools: Jira / Confluence

Will be a plus: — Experience in monitoring / observability / ITSM — Understanding of microservices architecture — Experience with enterprise / on-premise products
