Eltex develops hardware and software for telecommunication equipment, including GPON equipment, Ethernet switches, routers, Wi-Fi equipment, Softswitch, VoIP gateways, and industrial IoT controllers.
Responsibilities
- Organize the work of a team of 5–7 engineers and distribute tasks.
- Develop testing methodologies and ensure the quality of the Elph product.
- Maintain bug tracking and collect testing metrics.
- Interact with developers and DevOps engineers when analyzing incidents.
- Participate in release planning and updating test benches.
Requirements
- Over 4 years of experience in testing server and backend solutions.
- Over 1 year of experience in managing a small team: assigning tasks, developing testing methodologies, and mentoring.
- Python knowledge at a Middle+ level and experience with Linux.
- Understanding of the TCP/IP stack.
- Experience with containerization, virtualization, and orchestration: Docker, OpenNebula, k3s, and Helm.
- Willingness to relocate to Novosibirsk and work from the office.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of encryption principles and types, HTTPS, and TLS.
- Experience with monitoring systems.
- Understanding of TDM and VoIP telephony protocols.
