We are looking for an Art Director with project management responsibilities for the Advance Design team at Sber.
The Advance Design team consists of specialists from different countries and works on the design of the future, taking into account the heritage of world cultures and trends in all aspects of creativity and innovation. Designers of exteriors, interiors, and UX collaborate to transform global trends into exciting projects of innovative products and visions of future design and style.
Responsibilities:
Ensures the implementation of industrial design projects:
- Forms the idea and clear concept for the implementation of industrial design projects
- Assigns segmental tasks to team members regarding the specifics and quality of creative work
- Performs author's supervision for the creation of presentations for creative projects, prototypes, and finished products
- Controls the process of developing sketches, CMF cards, concepts, as well as the process of forming physical models by the creative team
- Monitors the deadlines for creative tasks in accordance with approved schedules
Responsible for the strategic development of the "industrial design" area:
- Coordinates the implementation of Sber's design strategy, including analyzing current trends in industrial design and their integration into Laboratory projects
- Controls product quality at all stages of development and production
- Responsible for defining design development quality criteria
- Ensures control over the quality of design development by the Laboratory's creative team
Organizes interaction with contractors and clients:
- Interacts with internal clients and external contractors to form design briefs and technical specifications for projects implemented in the Laboratory
- Monitors the work performed by contractors and controls the implementation of industrial design projects, taking into account current guidelines, the use of innovative technologies and best global practices, as well as project requirements specified in the technical documentation
- Evaluates the competencies of specialists in this field in the external market for the purpose of implementing creative projects
- Supports design projects within their specialization throughout all stages of their lifecycle
- Participates in briefings with external contractors (design expertise) on industrial design projects implemented in the Laboratory
Requirements:
- Higher education (priority given to higher education in design)
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an Art Director in large design bureaus
- Proficient in Alias, Catia, Rhino, or other computer-aided design systems
- Experience in Class A surface modeling
- Proficient in AutoCAD, presentation software (PPT, Figma, Pixo, KeyNote) at an advanced user level
- Experience in modeling and designing complex industrial design objects, including vehicles
- Experience working with scans (point clouds), creating models from point clouds
- Ability to read ESKD drawings and experience modeling from drawings
- Experience modeling from sketches or photos
- Experience in managing creative projects
- Knowledge of Russian Federation laws on copyright
- Knowledge of standards and requirements for design documentation and production technological preparation
- Knowledge of ergonomics requirements
- English language B2
- Skills in working with generative AI models; experience in creating AI agents and using them in work will be an advantage
- Experience using GigaChat, Kandinsky, and similar tools in products, skills in creating and using AI agents
- Instrumental mastery of AI for analysis, generation, and automation
