🎯 About the Role We are looking for a specialist who combines deep expertise in machine learning with strong engineering skills. You will design ML architecture, build production-level models, and ensure their lifecycle in a high-load environment.

✔️Tasks Development and support of ML services in Python (code, tests, code review) Designing system architectures using machine learning Data preparation: collection, cleaning, validation, feature engineering Design and analysis of A/B tests, calculation of statistical significance Training, validation, and deployment of models (Hadoop / Kubernetes / Airflow) Writing and optimizing SQL/Spark queries for working with big data Alignment of business metrics with model metrics, selection of proxy metrics and loss functions Formulating data requirements for new ML products Domain analysis to improve model quality Quality control of big data product releases

‼️ Requirements Algorithms and Data Structures Algorithm complexity evaluation (Big O) Standard data structures and algorithms (including from the standard library) Extended set: probabilistic algorithms, graph algorithms, external memory Statistics and Mathematics Limit theorems and their applications Hypothesis testing, bootstrap, A/B tests (convergence conditions) Variance reduction, causal inference Bayesian optimization, graphical models, Gaussian processes Machine Learning Understanding of ML algorithms, including SOTA methods in their field Ability to adapt methods to tasks, build models from standard components Full ML development cycle: from idea to production Monitoring model business metrics, connection to the loss function Experience with less common methods: Bayesian models, PGM, VBI, RL M LOps and Infrastructure Versioning of models and data Monitoring of model and data quality Software deployment in a cluster (K8s, Hadoop) Building forecasting infrastructure SQL and Databases Complex queries: windows, groupings, CTE Query optimization, indexes, transactions, ACID Industrial experience with multiple DBMS/storage systems Engineering Culture Clean, maintainable code (Python) Git, unit/integration tests, code review Debugging third-party code, refactoring, working with technical debt Designing component architectures considering scalability Analytical Skills Researching non-obvious tasks, proposing solution options Understanding tool limitations, justifying the choice of new ones
