Analyst-Developer in Digital Out-of-Home Advertising (DOOH)
Digital Out-of-Home Advertising (DOOH) is an advertising product at the intersection of digital advertising and the real offline world. We use advertising technologies to create a new advertising direction for Yandex.
Analytics plays a key role in our product: it is the analysts who assess ad visibility, search for suboptimal screens, find anomalies, research the effectiveness of outdoor advertising for advertisers, and do much more.
You will be directly involved in the product development of digital out-of-home advertising: engage in analyzing the effectiveness of various types of ad surfaces and develop a methodology for calculating their key metrics, analyze the quality of the advertising itself.
Development of a metrics system and methodology for outdoor advertising In DOOH, we offer advertisers to pay not for impressions, but for the number of potential contacts with the ad (so-called OTS — opportunity to see). We are very keen to validate our OTS calculation methodology, improve it, and make it transparent for the entire digital out-of-home advertising market.
Analysis of outdoor advertising effectiveness for advertisers It is very important for us to build a transparent and correct process for evaluating advertising effectiveness for an advertiser: we want our clients to understand what the advertising gave them and what business effect they received from it.
Analytics of the advertising inventory network We are growing the number of advertising screens, increasing the density of advertising inventory. It is very important to understand where screens are lacking and what added value new ones will give us. We want to learn how to manage the development of the advertising inventory network through analytics.
