Role Mission
To ensure profitable company growth by improving the efficiency of managing costs, inventory, orders, and cash flows throughout the entire product creation and sales chain.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between designers, production experts, quality experts, material sourcing, technical development, marketing, and retail.
- Provide the Product Development Lead (together with the Product Director and Creative Director) with all necessary data, risk assessment analysis, and proposals for effective decision-making on assortment, design, and production issues to ensure the commercial success of the collection and category development.
- Be responsible for the final product as a whole: sales, profitability, quality, brand compliance, and customer expectations.
- Formulate requirements for working with partners: selection criteria, KPIs, terms of long-term cooperation.
- Assign tasks to production experts for continuous analysis of new factories, auditing current partners, collecting data on quality and lead times, and initiating and agreeing on necessary changes to ensure product quality and adherence to the production calendar.
- Control the implementation of agreed-upon improvements: cost reduction, quality enhancement, logistics optimization.
- Be responsible for the final product profitability and partner terms (prices, payment terms, volumes), even if operational negotiations are conducted by experts.
- Manage the achievement of key performance metrics.
- Formulate and populate the assortment matrix based on analysis of sales, profitability, demand, and the competitive environment.
- Manage budget execution, plans for quantity, sales, margin, and cost.
- Ensure timely product launch and availability in stores and online.
- Weekly analyze sales, stock levels, STR, CSI, OTIF, IGM.
- Conduct competitor and trend analysis.
- Based on data, initiate changes in assortment, pricing, and partner relations to ensure the achievement of performance metrics.
- Lead continuous improvements and automation of analysis and other operations to minimize "manual" management.
- Monitor customer feedback (through quality experts), compile product ratings, and initiate deeper research (surveys/interviews) if necessary.
- In collaboration with production experts and designers, implement improvements in quality and consumer properties to achieve performance metrics.
- Organize synchronization between departments.
- Conduct product presentations for retail and online channels, discuss promotion concepts with marketing and sales.
- Participate in retrospective fittings and other regular strategic meetings and projects for reducing the production cycle, increasing sales, managing assortment, etc., to achieve performance metrics.
Candidate Profile
- At least 2 years of experience in fashion companies (apparel category) as a Product Manager, Category Manager, Commercial Analyst, or Sales Expert responsible for sales, profitability, pricing, and promotions.
- Advanced Excel skills, ability to analyze commercial indicators, identify growth opportunities, and implement solutions.
- Experience managing an assortment matrix as a project and proficiency in BI tools.
- English language proficiency at B2 (Upper Intermediate) level.
- Higher education and a commitment to continuous development, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Advantageous: experience working with production sites in China, Turkey, and other countries, knowledge of PLM systems (Centric, Lectra), Chinese language proficiency at B1 (Intermediate) level, and use of AI tools for analytics and automation.
