YOU WILL HAVE TO:

• Create an assortment matrix considering prices, order depths, deadlines, product lifecycle, and other attributes;
• Create a SKU and maintain the product card in PLM;
• Formulate principles for calculating orders by department (size scales, price levels, markup);
• Make decisions on placing model orders;
• Approve model orders;
• React promptly to changing conditions in the fashion market, focus on supply and demand, changes in product launch dates, based on customer needs;
• Identify and decide on products that align with the positioning and needs of the target customer;
• Analyze the target market and customer preferences;
• Identify commercially successful trends in the global fashion industry (catwalks, street style, color palettes, WGSN, competitor market research, supplier proposals, feedback from product/store managers, from consumers);
• Determine pricing strategy according to product positioning and company financial goals;
• Cross-functional interaction with the development team to create the collection;
• Conduct briefs for the team on the needs of the target customer;
• Control adherence to the business calendar;
• Ensure commercial development of the department;
• Daily control and analysis of sales efficiency together with the commercial controller, in order to respond promptly to market conditions by category:
• Bestselling products that require prompt reordering, if necessary,
• Low-performing colorways/families/trends to reduce or cancel future development;
• Attend exhibitions with the buyer and designer to search for new models;
• Together with the department's commercial controller:
• Prepare and approve the sales and purchasing budget at the department/family/colorway level,
• Preliminary budget allocation corresponding to sales needs by models and weeks,
• Weekly monitoring of department budget execution,
• Make decisions on the first discount;
• Work with the team, distribute and control task execution, set goals, provide feedback;
• Manage the assigned budget for the area.

WE EXPECT:

• Expertise in sales planning and forecasting methods;
• Understanding of women's clothing and fashion industry trends;
• Knowledge of the mass market and fast fashion specifics;
• Over 5 years of experience in a commercial department or in the fashion industry in a similar role;
• English language proficiency at C1 level;
• MS Office, proficient Excel user;
• Business communication and cross-functional interaction skills;
• Retail experience will be an advantage.
