Cubic Games is a game development studio within the GDEV holding. Our mission is to make games people keep coming back to for years. We created Pixel Gun 3D, one of the most popular pixel shooters, with 300M+ downloads and over 5M monthly players. In 2026 we released Pixel Gun 2. Small team. Big games. We’re building a new kind of studio. AI is built into our key processes and takes care of the routine, while a small team of experienced specialists owns the decisions, ideas and quality. Everyone owns their area: they propose goals and an approach, align them with their manager, and see the results of their work in a product played by millions. We combine the stability of a studio within a large holding with the energy of a startup. We make decisions fast while keeping the quality checks that matter. We discuss work openly and respectfully, trust expertise, and back ideas that deliver measurable results.
About the role:
We’re looking for a Senior User Acquisition Manager to own audience growth for two shooters at once. The two products are at different stages, and both will be your area of responsibility. Pixel Gun 3D is a mature live project with more than ten years of history, millions of players, a strong community and a recognizable brand. The focus here is scaling without losing payback and finding growth where the obvious solutions have long been tested. Pixel Gun 2 is a new game in its early global launch. A lot here will be built from scratch: entering new markets, testing channels, and finding the combinations of geos, audiences and creatives that will become the foundation for scaling. This role combines building strategy with hands-on work: planning, launching, running the numbers and automating. We’re not looking for someone to optimize individual campaigns. We’re looking for someone to own the entire growth system.
Responsibilities:
- Build the UA strategy for both projects: quarterly plans, prioritizing experiments, and driving initiatives to measurable results.
- Scale UA for the mature Pixel Gun 3D and build UA from scratch for Pixel Gun 2 during its global launch.
- Take Pixel Gun 2 into new markets: launch planning, budget allocation across geos and channels, scaling results.
- Work with key channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, AppLovin, Apple Search Ads and others) and test new traffic sources.
- Optimize the full funnel: conversion events, attribution, targeting, bidding, creatives, store pages.
- Connect UA with product economics: traffic quality, monetization, retention, LTV, payback.
- Find new growth opportunities (markets, channels, formats) and turn them into an experiment roadmap.
- Automate processes with data and AI tools so a small team can work with the efficiency of a large one.
- Collaborate closely with the product, analytics and creative teams.
What we expect from a candidate:
- 4+ years of UA experience in gamedev, ideally in mobile F2P projects.
- Experience scaling campaigns significantly.
- Ideally, experience with both a mature live product and a new game launch.
- If you haven’t done one of these yet, you should clearly understand the difference between the two scenarios.
- Understanding of how to promote a game with a strong community: loyal audience, organic, brand traffic, the impact of social channels.
- Deep understanding of unit economics: LTV, ROAS, payback, retention, cohorts.
- Experience with MMPs (AppsFlyer, Adjust, etc.) and an understanding of mobile attribution, including SKAN.
- Active use of AI in your work for analytics, creatives and automation.
- Self-initiative and ownership: you see what needs to be done and you do it.
- A mindset driven by business goals, not tools.
- Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- English B2+ for communicating with partners and ad networks.
What will be a plus:
- Experience with shooters or midcore genres.
- Experience with a global mobile game launch.
- SQL, Python or scripting for automation.
- Experience building a UA function in a small team.
