Responsibilities:
- Deployment of new web services in the company's infrastructure;
- Maintaining high availability of these highload web services;
- Responsibility for data integrity;
- Process automation;
- Interaction with development/PM/GM teams;
- Keeping documentation up-to-date.
What we are looking for:
- Administration (Linux/Unix) for 3+ years;
- Ability to debug issues (top, iostat, iotop, strace, ltrace, tcpdump/wireshark, traceroute, mtr, and others);
- Understanding of the TCP/IP stack, packet filters;
- Kubernetes administration;
- Understanding of containerization (docker/lxc), ability to write Dockerfile;
- Ability to create templates in Helm;
- Proficiency in any scripting language (Python/Bash or others);
- Knowledge of configuration management systems (saltstack/ansible or others);
- Experience in writing CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab-ci/Jenkins or others;
- Basic understanding and configuration of Nginx;
- Experience administering relational databases (MySQL and PostgreSQL);
- Ability to configure database backups, replication, database debugging skills, ability to find and analyze slow queries;
- English language proficiency at the level of reading and understanding technical documentation;
- Communication skills, initiative, independence.
Will be a plus:
- Understanding of SRE methodology fundamentals;
- Understanding of DevOps methodology fundamentals;
- Experience administering Ceph and RadosGW (S3).
