Andersen Lab invites a Senior Go Backend Developer to a distributed team working in the CEST time zone. This role is for an experienced backend engineer who is ready to take full responsibility for services — from design to production reliability — and confidently interact with international stakeholders.

💸 Conditions: $4000 - $5500 before taxes

👉 Tech Stack: Golang, Microservices, PostgreSQL, Docker, gRPC, Prometheus/Grafana, RabbitMQ/Kafka, Kubernetes, Jaeger, REST API.

Must-Have: • 5+ years of commercial development, including 3+ years with Go in production. • Deep experience with Golang, including concurrency (goroutines, channels). • Experience in designing, developing, and supporting microservice architecture using gRPC in industrial operation. • Experience with containerization and deployment of backend services. • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization, migrations). • Practical experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka for event-driven interaction. • Experience in designing and implementing REST API. • Skills in writing unit and integration tests. • Experience with monitoring and alerting using Grafana and Prometheus. • Experience in designing scalable, highly available systems for high-load real-time scenarios. • Active participation in code reviews with a focus on quality and knowledge sharing. • Proactive approach and responsibility for components at all stages of the life cycle. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum. • Understanding of fault-tolerant systems, idempotency, SLA, and service reliability. • Experience in fintech or banking, working with complex integrations. • English: Upper-Intermediate+.

Responsibilities: • Build and develop a real-time cross-selling platform with personalized offer logic. • Be responsible for the backend of several user-facing applications, developing microservices with gRPC. • Design and maintain REST/gRPC APIs for integration with core platforms. • Work with PostgreSQL for modeling transactional data. • Implement event-driven processes with RabbitMQ/Kafka. • Write unit and integration tests with an emphasis on accuracy and reliability. • Monitor services through Grafana/Prometheus for proactive issue detection. • Participate in code reviews, architectural decisions, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
