Security Team Lead for Verticals

Yandex Verticals is an ecosystem used by millions of people. It includes services such as Yandex Travel, Real Estate, Rentals, and Auto.ru.

We are looking for a talented manager to help expand the team and improve secure development processes.

What tasks await you

Leader tasks You will manage a team of two engineers, skillfully distribute the team's focus without losing sight of key goals, build the workflow: plan, prioritize, and assign tasks, as well as help colleagues develop — teach and instill a culture of information security (IS).

Architect tasks You will conduct architectural reviews, including from the perspective of infrastructure and product logic, find solutions to make the architecture more reliable and efficient, assess risks, and describe ways to mitigate them.

Partner tasks You will need to improve the SDLC process (audits and code reviews, SLA and task backlog management, etc.), coordinate project activities on IS for different business lines, support major launches from a security perspective, provide expert support to colleagues, helping them understand complex issues. You will build a risk-oriented dialogue with the business, maintaining a balance between IS maturity and product maturity.

We expect that you

• Have built product security for three years
• Have designed and reviewed system security architecture for two years
• Have managed a team or been a mentor for one year
• Possess a broad IT outlook
• Think structurally, are independent, proactive, and results-oriented
