Salary negotiable
2+ years of experience
Hello!
I'm Artem, Head of Content Quality. I'm currently looking for a Senior Content Moderator for the "In-Game Values" team – someone who is well-versed in the specifics of in-game values and wants to grow not only in moderation but also in their expertise in this area.
If you have experience with content moderation or quality control, understand how in-game values, game currency, and RMT work, can independently resolve complex situations, work with data, and identify the root causes of problems – I'd be happy to meet you.
It's especially important for us that you understand the specifics of in-game values: what methods exist for obtaining and transferring game currency and items, how RMT works, and what risks are involved when dealing with such goods.
Moreover, a Senior Moderator is not just someone who is good at moderation. We need a specialist who becomes an expert in their field, makes complex decisions independently, identifies systemic issues, proposes and implements improvements, and helps the team become stronger.
About the Company
ggsel is a marketplace for digital goods. Since 2017, we've been among the top platforms in the CIS. Over 6 million users choose us monthly for the best prices and quality support, and last year we grew 4.5 times. Our goal is not just to maintain our position but to revolutionize the digital trading market: make it fair, convenient, fast, and become a leader in digital commerce, including on the international stage.
We are growing rapidly, and with us, the number of tasks to be solved daily also increases. Therefore, we need someone who can keep pace, dive deep into their area, and yet maintain attention to detail.
What You'll Be Doing
- Area Expertise Dive into the specifics of in-game values, game mechanics, and features of various games. Monitor changes in the area, study new types of goods and violation scenarios, form and transfer necessary expertise to the team.
- Decision Quality Control Analyze moderators' decisions and identify errors, inconsistencies, and controversial practices in handling violations. If necessary, review decisions on complex cases, including those related to account bans, and ensure a unified approach to applying sanctions.
- Expert Support for Sellers Get involved in complex and non-standard situations with sellers, help moderators analyze cases, assess potential risks, and find optimal solutions within the platform's rules.
- Area Analytics Work with large volumes of data and metrics for the area, identify patterns and deviations, analyze categories and sellers, and pinpoint root causes of problems. Formulate hypotheses, test them based on data, and propose solutions.
- Rule and Process Development Participate in the development and updating of the area's rules, regulations, and instructions. Initiate process changes that help reduce violations, simplify the team's work, and make seller requirements clearer and more consistent.
- Team Management Assign tasks to junior and regular moderators, set priorities, monitor task completion and work quality. Conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, help employees develop, and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Mentoring Help moderators develop professional skills, analyze mistakes and complex cases, and provide developmental feedback. Participate in onboarding new employees, prepare and conduct training sessions for your area.
- Task Coordination Organize work on tasks that require the involvement of multiple employees or departments, distribute areas of responsibility, monitor adherence to agreements, and bring tasks to completion.
- Collaboration with Adjacent Teams Interact with relevant departments, synchronize participants on complex issues, and find solutions that consider the interests of both content quality and the business.
- Automation and Tool Development Utilize advanced features of Google Sheets / Excel for data analysis, report generation, and routine process automation. Identify opportunities to make the team's workflows faster and more efficient.
