Responsibilities
- Development of RTL IP blocks for computing devices, including: creating technical specifications for IP, developing microarchitecture and RTL in SystemVerilog, participating in the creation of block verification plans together with the verification team
- Debugging issues that arise in the developed IPs at all stages of implementation, from RTL and verification to the final stages of design
- Development of unit tests in languages such as SystemVerilog/Python/C++/etc.
- Integration of developed IPs into the architecture of computing devices
- Optimization of IP blocks at the RTL level to improve performance, enhance timing characteristics (timing closure), and reduce the power consumption of the final device
- Interaction with other teams during debugging, testing of device samples, and preparation of documentation
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in developing digital devices using hardware description languages Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL for FPGA/ASIC
- Ability to describe temporal/physical design constraints (SDC/XDC)
- Ability to use logic synthesis/optimization tools
- Ability and willingness to work in a team
- Technical English for reading and writing documentation
- Ability to independently plan your work, concisely explain and document results.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to express and effectively convey your own ideas to your own and related teams.
- Ability to approach your colleagues with empathy and support, to listen to and understand their ideas, different viewpoints, and values.
Additional skills:
- Ability to write SVA (SystemVerilog Assertions)
- Experience with CDC/RDC
- Understanding of protocols like APB/AHB/AXI, etc.
- Experience with version control systems (git) and task tracking tools (Jira/Redmine/etc.)
- Familiarity with make and scripting languages (perl/python/tcl/shell).
