Who we are looking for
Due to staff expansion, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the mobile project Philwords team. We need a person with systemic thinking and attention to detail, who can clearly formulate tasks, effectively build processes and communication, and is also ready to actively engage in the team's work and help us create games that are played all over the world.
About the project:
You will be working on the game «Philwords». This is a mobile casual word puzzle game where players need to find words. The product is released on iOS and Android with millions of players worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Managing the project development team, competent workload distribution, creating and maintaining a favorable atmosphere within the team.
- Monitoring deadlines and quality of task completion (setting, prioritizing, distributing tasks, forecasting deadlines).
- Analyzing key project statistical metrics.
- Promptly resolving blockers.
- Maintaining project documentation and project configuration.
- Preparing for releases and checking the status of release builds, managing releases and issuing regular new versions of the game on Android/iOS.
- Implementing new technical solutions.
- Interacting with external teams.
- Monitoring and transferring experience between projects.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
- Experience working with a distributed team.
- Proactive approach to solving day-to-day tasks.
- Understanding the specifics of IT project management.
- Working with Jira, Confluence services.
- Knowledge of development management methodologies and paradigms (Agile: Scrum, Kanban).
- Confident knowledge of mobile platforms.
- High level of organization and independence.
- Planning skills, risk management, leadership qualities, and teamwork experience.
- Ability to work in multitasking mode, quickly switching between tasks.
Will be a plus
- Experience in software development or testing.
- Experience as a business/systems analyst.
- Experience as a team lead.
- Experience in gamedev.
