Junior/Junior+ QA Engineer
Starplay Games is a young independent game development company, we are 50 people and we make games that have already been played by over 100 million people. We value the freedom and creativity of our team: we have no bureaucracy, decisions are made quickly, and everyone can express themselves freely.
Our projects' main genres are action. One of our flagship games is the mobile superhero action Spider Fighter 3. But we are not stopping, and we are currently working on two new projects.
We are looking for a tester who will help improve the gaming experience of our players and will be ready to share responsibility for the quality of the games we release.
A mandatory test task is provided for this vacancy.
What we expect from you 💪:
- Control and responsibility for release testing (Android/iOS);
- Minimization of missed critical defects in production, analysis of causes, and preventive measures;
- Localization and documentation of defects;
- Testing of technical specifications, highlighting problems/predicting errors;
- Creation and maintenance of up-to-date test documentation (checklists/test cases);
- Suggestions for improving current processes and our games;
- Close collaboration with managers, developers, and game designers;
You are a good fit for us if you have ✅:

- Completed testing courses;
- Confident knowledge of testing theory and the ability to apply it in practice;

It will be a plus ➕:
- Experience in testing mobile games;
- Experience working with Unity;
- Experience working with bug tracking systems (Jira);
- Experience working with Zephyr Scale;
- Experience testing SDK/advertising and ad networks/in-apps/analytics;
- Understanding of Git principles;
- Experience working with Bugsnag;
- Onboarding new employees;
- Knowledge of English;
- Experience in game automation.
