Middle QA Engineer (Gamedev)

Mobile game development studio Freeway Games is looking for an experienced QA engineer to work on puzzle genre projects. Our most successful game, Tap Gallery, grew to 15 million players in a year and continues to accelerate, so it won't be boring!

We are strengthening our team, therefore we are looking for a QA manager who will join us and be able to apply their practical experience to our successful project.

Responsibilities:

• Testing game functionality.
• Finding, localizing, and documenting bugs.
• Writing test cases, checklists.
• Regression testing after fixes.
• Interaction with developers, game designers.
• Checking builds on different platforms (iOS, Android).
• Participation in playtests and evaluation of user experience.

What we expect from the candidate:

• Commercial testing experience of 2+ years (gamedev).
• Confident writing of test documentation.
• Understanding of testing methodologies and the ability to apply them in practice.
• Experience with logs, debugging, developer console.
• Experience testing mobile games / applications.
• Experience with CI/CD and version control systems.
• Skills in evaluating feature quality before release.
