The PR team at Aviasales does all sorts of things that later get written about in the press, with people exclaiming "Wow, even here there's advertising": sometimes it's 16-meter-high AVIASELES letters on the summit of Elbrus, sometimes it's a beach in Sochi branded by us, and sometimes it's a new feature that 20 million of our users absolutely love.
We don't call editors asking "When will you publish our press release?" and we always ask "what for". Today you have the opportunity to become part of this team.
What you'll be doing:
- working on business as usual processes with incoming requests, seasonal materials for regional media, and regular communication with editorial offices;
- managing special media projects and cross-format campaigns, like this one — ;
- working with informational opportunities and crisis communications;
- conducting analytics (both media and travel market);
- closely collaborating with product teams, the research team, and other Aviasales teams.
What we expect from you:
- 3+ years of experience in PR or marketing communications for IT products or the travel industry;
- the ability to independently manage projects from idea to publication: gather participants, negotiate with venues, track deadlines, and bring everything to completion;
- attention to detail is your middle name, so in your cover letter, please send a portfolio with PR campaigns and special projects that were under your responsibility;
- experience working with various media formats;
- good editorial and copywriting skills: you'll need to write, edit, and fine-tune texts without bureaucratic language or unnecessary fluff.
